What is the method for compressing text in CSS?

I'm curious about how to condense my text so it doesn't extend beyond the page. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Issue:

Solution:

.Subheading{
    text-align:center;
    font-family: 'Mukta', sans-serif;
    margin-top:70px;
    margin-left:-500px;
    font-size:30px;
}
<p class="Subheading">Thanks for you the family of the random of the screen of the something yes ok no understood no what nevermind.</p>

Appreciate any help with this!

Answer №1

To counteract the -500px margin, you can simply add a padding of 500px. If this solution doesn't work for your specific case, please provide more information.

.Subheading{
    text-align:center;
    font-family: 'Mukta', sans-serif;
    margin-top:70px;
    margin-left:-500px;
    padding-left:500px;
    font-size:30px;
    text-align: left;
}
<p class="Subheading">Thanks for you the family of the random of the screen of the something yes ok no understood no what nevermind.</p>
