What is the best way to eliminate the header and side navigation in a master page design?

I've set up a master page called wrap.master which is connected to multiple content pages. I'm looking to create a new content page and link it to the master page. However, I want this new content page to be independent from the header and side navigation featured on the master page - essentially only displaying the footer. Is there a way to achieve this specific setup for my content page?

Appreciate any guidance!

Answer №1

To accommodate the new layout, I suggest creating a second master page.

If the footer is shared between both master pages, it may be beneficial to place it in a user control that can be utilized by both layouts.

Consider also incorporating your header and navigation into a user control for added flexibility.

Alternatively, you could opt to use a specific stylesheet for the new layout where you hide certain elements like the header, navigation, and footer.
