What is the best approach for extracting multiple images from a URL and inserting them individually into separate divs using JavaScript?

Is there a way to elegantly display images horizontally on my website without them stacking on top of each other? I want each image to be placed side by side in a specific space for a beautiful layout.

<!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    <head>

    </head>
    <body>

    <div id="flockler_container"></div>
    <div id="flockler_container1"></div>
    <div id="flockler_container2></div>
    <div id="flockler_container3"></div>
    <script>
        var _flockler = _flockler || {};
        _flockler.count = 20;
        _flockler.refresh = 0;
        _flockler.site = '1239/14550';
        _flockler.style = 'wall';

        (function(){var f = document.createElement('script');
        f.async=1;
        f.src='http://embed-cdn.flockler.com/embed-v2.js';
        s=document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];

        s.parentNode.insertBefore(f,s);
       })();

        </script>
    </body>
    </html>

Answer №1

To create a horizontal display of images/divs, you can float them side by side.

Html

<div id="flockler_container img-float"></div>
<div id="flockler_container1 img-float"></div>
<div id="flockler_container2 img-float"></div>
<div id="flockler_container3 img-float"></div>

CSS

<style>
   .img-float{
      float:left;
      width:25%;
   }
</style>
