What do you call this technique, and how can I replicate it? (Adjusting text)

Have you noticed the cool feature on ? It automatically changes the text midway through the page (Sketch is made for insert changing text here like you) after some time. I'm curious about how they achieved that and what it's called.

I'm attempting to create something similar. Thanks!

To achieve the desired result, you have two options: you can use a setInterval if you want the text to change at regular intervals indefinitely, or you can utilize setTimeout if you only want the text to change once. Below is an example showcasing the use of setTimeout:

document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function(){
  setTimeout(function(){
    var div = document.getElementById('js-text');
    div.innerHTML = "Replaced <span class='redText'>Text</span>";
  }, 1000);
});
.redText{
  color: red;
}
<div id="js-text">Initial Text</div>
