What could be preventing my image from displaying in the header section?

Having trouble displaying the image I added in the header section as a logo. The code works for my online course instructor, but no luck for me. I've tried different images and links to no avail.

If you would like to take a look at the codes I used, here is the link to my Github repository: https://github.com/Ashikf1/web-des-ign

Everything seems fine with the code, but the image just won't show up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Answer №1

The problem lies in the image path configuration. The image file logo.png can be found in the img directory, which is located one level above the current CSS location.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following code snippet:

#logo-img {
    background: url('../img/logo.png') no-repeat;
    width: 150px;
    height: 150px;
    margin: 10px 15px 10px 0;
}

Answer №2

To display images, use the following image tag with the src attribute:

<img src="./img/logo.png" id="logo-img" alt="Logo image">
