Unique CSS Styles for Border Radius

Is there a way to achieve rounded corners on only the top left and top right, but not on the bottom two corners of a div using a specific value for -webkit-border-radius?

Answer №1

The correct syntax to use for setting border-radius is:

border-radius: top-left top-right bottom-right bottom-left;

For example:

div {
  background: blue;
  border-radius: 10px 10px 0 0;
  width: 200px;
  height: 200px;
}
<div></div>

Answer №2

Every corner has its own border-radius properties:

border-top-left-radius
border-bottom-right-radius
border-top-right-radius
border-bottom-left-radius

In my opinion, Mozilla should consider adding prefixes such as -moz-border-radius-topright.

Answer №3

Here are some CSS properties you can use:

-webkit-border-top-right-radius:10px;
-webkit-border-top-left-radius:10px;
-webkit-border-bottom-right-radius:0px;
-webkit-border-bottom-left-radius:0px;

To ensure compatibility with Firefox, include the following:

-moz-border-radius-bottomright:0px;
-moz-border-radius-bottomleft:0px;
-moz-border-radius-topright:10px;
-moz-border-radius-topleft:10px;
