Unable to properly align divs vertically

Having trouble getting some divs to align properly, whether they are in an accordion or not. The current layout is not what I want:

My goal is to have them vertically aligned at the top, despite varying lengths. Any help would be appreciated.

I attempted to create a fiddle but failed, so you can see the issue in action at

If more information is needed, feel free to ask. I will do my best to assist you.

Answer №1

Eliminate the <br> tags that are present between your labels.

<label><br><label>

Answer №2

The label elements in your code are not properly closed. It is recommended to validate your HTML structure.

In addition, avoid placing div elements inside label elements as this can cause issues. Consider restructuring your code accordingly.

Answer №3

Stop closing <label> tags, start opening new ones:

<label><div class="phoneitem">
    <img src="http://www.thephotoshopwirral.com/image/phones/bold.png" width="200" height="250" alt="">
    <input type="radio" name="phones" value="1" id="phones_">
    Blackberry Bold
</div><label> <!-- THIS LINE -->

Switch <label> in the particular line to </label>.
