Troubles arise when the left column shifts to the top with widths larger than 1440

Having a WordPress site with the Divi theme, I encounter an issue where the menu on the left-hand side is being displayed above the page content when the screen width exceeds around 1440 pixels.

This problem persists on every page that contains this column, such as

I've tried removing the menu and replacing it with text to rule out any shortcode issues.

Even after examining the CSS, I can't pinpoint why it works fine at 1440 x 900 but fails at 1600 x 1200.

I'm stuck on identifying the root cause of this issue.

Your help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Answer №1

It appears that the float attribute is causing the issue at hand. Simply eliminate the float: https://i.sstatic.net/kBOz1.png

If you apply the float to the main section of your article, everything should work perfectly: https://i.sstatic.net/syL4s.png

You may also need to adjust the padding for optimal results.
