Troubles arise when attempting to load the imported Segoe UI semilight font in CSS

Segoe UI semlight is a font created specifically for Windows 7 that I adore. In fact, I am currently developing a web application and decided to use this font in it. However, I encountered an issue when trying to make the font compatible with other operating systems like Windows XP. Despite saving and importing the font into my CSS code properly, it simply refuses to load. This problem is not related to the directory or import process as I have successfully tested other fonts without any trouble. I am stumped as to why this font, in particular, is causing issues. If anyone has any insights on why this font won't load correctly, I would greatly appreciate the help......

Here is some advice from Microsoft that may be helpful to you:

The Segoe UI Semilight font was created for the purpose of using a light weight font at smaller sizes compared to Segoe UI Light. Segoe UI Light is not recommended to be used below 20pt (@96ppi), while Segoe UI Semilight can still be effective down to around 11pt. There is a possibility that the font may become available on Windows 7 through a widespread update, but there are no guarantees at this time. It is currently suggested to use Segoe UI Regular for sizes below 20pt.

Experiment with adjusting the font size to see if that resolves the issue.
