Tips for customizing a bootstrap CSS file or incorporating it into your project

Embarking on a new journey into web development, I found myself diving deep into the realms of the internet to edit a template for a forum website. It's certainly a challenge, given my limited experience in this field.

The template utilizes a bootstrap link for the css file, a concept that is currently beyond my skill level. I'm in need of some guidance in the right direction.

Whether it's understanding how to use/read the bootstrap file, converting it to a standard css file for visual studio, or finding a reliable source code to use as a foundation for my project, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to assist me with this.

Daniel

After some Googling about bootstrapping, attempting to edit a bootstrap css file, and struggling to comprehend its inner workings, I found myself at a loss. In a moment of existential crisis, I even turned to Stack Overflow in search of answers.

Unfortunately, I've come up empty-handed on all fronts.
