The text color for the sub menu cannot be customized on a WordPress website

Currently, I am working on making adjustments to a website using WordPress. Specifically, one of the changes I need to make involves adding new submenu items to the main navigation menu. While I have been able to add these items successfully, I am facing difficulty in changing the text color to white (as it is currently black). I have attempted various solutions, but none seem to be affecting the second level of the menu. Rest assured, I have correctly added the menu item. Answer №1

The CSS style you need for the main menu is already set... But the Sub-Menu still needs it...

Ensure to include this snippet in your style.css file

ul.sub-menu > li > a span span {
    color: rgb(255, 255, 255);
}

UPDATE: To make it bold, you can insert font-weight: 900;
