The sub-menu positioning feature functions properly in Chrome and Safari, but is not compatible with Internet Explorer and Firefox

Working on a website for a gaming community, known as http://www.quad-gaming.com/.

All is running smoothly except for the dropdown menu under "Login" on the right side of the navigation bar. It behaves properly in Chrome and Safari, but in IE and Firefox, it shifts to the left.

Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Answer №1

Quite unusual.

When you set the ul element's left value to zero, it seems to function properly:

nav ul li ul {
  left: 0;
}

I can't test it on IE since I'm using a Mac. Hopefully, it functions correctly there as well.

Answer №2

Give this a shot

.dropdown ul {
    left: 0;
}

Successfully tested on Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 10, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 20, and Chrome 26

Answer №3

I have implemented the following CSS code:

nav ul li ul {
    position:absolute;
    left:0px; /* Including this line to address left positioning*/
    visibility: hidden;
}

Amazingly, it functions perfectly on Firefox!
