The responsive navigation menu expands

Struggling with my responsive menu issue here. I must admit, I am not a coding expert by any means, but I've been tasked with web design responsibilities at work.

The problem at hand is that the website isn't fully responsive, except for the "articles" section. When the screen size goes below 600px, the menu bar transforms into a hamburger menu. The strange part is that when I click on a section in the hamburger menu, instead of expanding to the entire page, it opens within the menu space, leaving the article visible below. Another oddity is that this only happens on certain pages while others function correctly.

Link to a functioning page

Link to a non-functioning page

Frankly, I'm clueless as to what's causing this issue.

P.S. Just to clarify - I didn't create the website, I simply maintain it.

Answer №1

First off, these two pages have different templates. If you take a look here, you'll see that the page that is not functioning properly has its menu loaded through an iframe. To resolve this issue, you can either update both pages to use the same template without iframes or simply add target="_top" to the menu links in /articoli/menu_mobile.html.

I suggest sticking to one template style without iframes for consistency, but adding the target attribute might be a quicker and simpler solution.
