The nested div within the ui-view element is failing to expand to the entire width of the window

I am facing a challenge in making a child div stretch to the entire width of the window, rather than just the width of its parent.

I am incorporating AngularJS with UI-Router, and I'm not sure if that is causing the issue.

Attached is a screenshot. I want the image to expand to fill the full width of the window.

Answer №1

It appears that the issue at hand is related to utilizing UI-Router within Angular.

In my index.html file, I had the following structure:

<!-- MAIN CONTENT -->
<div class="container">

<!-- THIS IS WHERE WE WILL INJECT OUR CONTENT ============================== -->
<div ui-view></div>

</div>

The outer container div was causing the content within the ui-view div to not expand to the full width of the window.

To resolve this problem, I simply removed the container div.
