The functionality of Bootstrap's Inline Block feature appears to be malfunctioning

Make sure to visit this awesome website:

Upon visiting the site, you'll notice the top menu with 3 options (My Account, Need Help & Cart). However, it seems that the Cart option is not aligning properly with the others.

I attempted to use display: inline-block;, but unfortunately, it didn't resolve the issue. I need some assistance in making all of these menus appear in a straight line (you can inspect using Chrome developer tools).

Answer №1

Your current layout using col-md-3 is causing issues because 3 menus cannot fit within 25% width of col-md-3.

Solution 1: Change the col-md-5 to col-md-4 for the search bar and adjust the menu section from col-md-3 to col-md-4.

Solution 2: Modify the logo from col-md-4 to col-md-3 and change the menu section from col-md-3 to col-md-4 - this option allows you to keep the search bar length intact.

Answer №2

There is not enough space for 3 options, so consider revising your column structure to accommodate them properly. This adjustment should help everything function smoothly.

Answer №3

Aligning the 'cart' with 'My Account' and 'Need Help' is not possible at the moment. This is because the div that contains these lists has a class of 'col-md-3', causing the first two list items to take up the entire width and forcing the cart to wrap below. To fix this issue, you will need to assign a class of col-md-4 or above in order for them to align horizontally.
