The background remains hidden from view as a result of its positioning

There seems to be an issue with the background color of my list not displaying correctly. The problem arose after floating elements left and right. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

If you'd like to take a look, here's the link to the fiddle

I'm also encountering an issue with the div .wrapper. The shadow should be positioned further below the content, and there should be a white background beneath it. You can view the details in the following fiddle link

Answer №1

To enhance the CSS styling, include the following:

ol {overflow:hidden;}

Additionally (2nd inquiry):

.wrapper {overflow:hidden;}
