The background only partially covers the section

<section role="main" id="main">
to incorporate the carbon class as the background does not fill completely.

My attempts to adjust the section height by using style='height: 100%' have been unsuccessful. How can I ensure that the carbon class background covers the entire page?

Answer №1

It is recommended to use height:100vh instead of height:100%

.container {
  background-image: url("https://i.stack.imgur.com/fhEwl.png");
  height: 100vh;
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
<div class="container">text</div>
