Tabs fail to load any content within their designated tab-panes

Struggling to create a bootstrap site with nav-tabs navigation. Can't figure out why the content isn't loading in the tab-pane. The tutorial works, but my project doesn't. Any assistance would be appreciated. I want the tabbed content to display when clicked, but it's stuck on the first tab. Thank you!

This snippet is taken from the Bootstrap documentation. Upon reviewing your code, it appears that there are fewer attributes in the structure, which may be causing some issues with its functionality.

Attributes like data-toggle and role are crucial for proper functioning.

Best of luck with resolving the issue. ;)

<ul class="nav nav-tabs" role="tablist">
    <li role="presentation" class="active"><a href="#home" aria-controls="home" role="tab" data-toggle="tab">Home</a></li>
    <li role="presentation"><a href="#profile" aria-controls="profile" role="tab" data-toggle="tab">Profile</a></li>
    <li role="presentation"><a href="#messages" aria-controls="messages" role="tab" data-toggle="tab">Messages</a></li>
    <li role="presentation"><a href="#settings" aria-controls="settings" role="tab" data-toggle="tab">Settings</a></li>
  </ul>

  <!-- Tab panes -->
  <div class="tab-content">
    <div role="tabpanel" class="tab-pane active" id="home">...</div>
    <div role="tabpanel" class="tab-pane" id="profile">...</div>
    <div role="tabpanel" class="tab-pane" id="messages">...</div>
    <div role="tabpanel" class="tab-pane" id="settings">...</div>
  </div>
