Styling forms with HTML and CSS: tips for proper positioning

My webpage contains two forms that are functioning correctly, but due to the order of the HTML code, the second form appears beneath the first. I am looking to display them side by side or in specific positions on the page. Is there a way for me to control the positioning of these forms? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer №1

To achieve the desired layout, utilize the CSS float:

#form1{
    width: 50%; // This allows space for the other form
    float: left; // Positioned to the left
}
#form2{
    width: 50%;
    float: right; // Positioned to the right
}

If you wish to adjust the widths of the forms, they will still remain aligned to the left and right respectively.
