Stacked text appearance in pseudo CSS/HTML5 styling

Trying to create a website for a charity but the text is unexpectedly stacked on the page. I attempted to use CSS3 and HTML5, although not perfectly compliant.

After researching how to stack with css3, it appears that none of those techniques were inadvertently implemented. PHP was utilized solely for the 'include' feature and future expansion purposes.

The footer seems to be overshadowed by the main body of text.

Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

Answer №1

In your code, the <section> element is being given a specific height. If you remove that setting, everything should work as expected.
