Some devices experiencing website update issues while others are successful

My website is functioning properly on my laptop and phone, but not on my school iPad (managed by the district). I have already cleared the cache, but the site does not update. It was working fine earlier, and I need to present it next Monday. Please help as my classmates will also be using their school iPads.

EDIT: The website was updating without any issues before today.

In response to comments:
I tried incognito mode, but it did not make any difference.
The content displays correctly, but on my school iPad, it seems like the server is being blocked. Is that a possibility?

Answer №1

After confirming that your website has been updated correctly and the files are intact on the server, it appears that the issue may lie with your school iPad blocking access to the server. To test this theory, you can try accessing the site through a web-based proxy for a quick diagnosis. Here is a recommended service:

Another solution to consider is uploading your webpage to a different server. Since it is just one page, you can utilize any free hosting service without any special requirements. For example, you can use a platform like HTML Pasta:

Create your own hosted page at

UPDATE: It is possible that your school iPad is not actively blocking content, but rather storing cached data that has not been cleared. Even if you have cleared your browser cache, there may be network-level caching affecting the accessibility of the updated site. This could be due to routing through a school proxy or another form of cached data.
