Safari's Styling Struggles

I've been diligently working on a website for some time now, conducting the majority of my testing in Chrome, Firefox, and IE. However, as I near completion, I've run into an issue when viewing the site in Safari on Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I've observed that certain elements are not displaying correctly in Safari. Despite my attempts to adjust the CSS, I have not been successful in resolving the issue.

You can view the page here -

Specifically, please pay attention to the logo (which is being pushed down into the banner), the font of the tagline in the banner (wrapping beyond the banner and extending too far to the left), the 'Featured Work' title wrapping, the project names wrapping, and the footer wrapping.

You can see how the page is supposed to look here -

To view how it appears on my iPhone, simply change the link above to .../iphone.png

Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

It seems like the issue might be related to having the text zoomed in on your browser.

When I accessed the page using Safari 5.1 on Mac OS 10.7.3, everything appeared fine at first. However, as soon as I tried zooming in on just the text, the layout broke, matching your description.

To prevent this from happening in the future, consider making the layout more flexible to accommodate users who might have their text size increased. For example, in Internet Explorer, users can adjust text size independently of zoom. It's important to test the layout under these conditions to ensure it remains legible even if not perfect.

One suggestion is to experiment with using different units of measurement. Relative measurements may work well for horizontal lengths like margin-left, while pixel measurements might be more suitable for vertical lengths such as margin-top. For elements that are especially critical, like the site logo, using position:absolute could be a helpful approach to consider.
