Removing the background inside an Iframe using HTML

Is there a method to eliminate the background color from the original site within an Iframe? It currently displays as white. Would it be possible to achieve this with Javascript?

Answer №1

Check out this solution

document.getElementById("YourIframeId").contentWindow.document.body.style.backgroundColor="blue";

Answer №2

To make an iframe transparent when it shares the same domain as your page, you can use JavaScript like this:

document.getElementById('IFRAMEID').contentDocument.body.style.background = "transparent";

After that, you'll also need to add the transparency attribute to the iframe:

ALLOWTRANSPARENCY="true"
