"Positioning the submit icon in the center using Flexbox for newsletters

My code snippet for the newsletter submit form needs some adjustments to keep the icon vertically centered and properly aligned. I want to make sure the icon stays fluidly centered in its position.

.cm-subscription {
  max-width: 100%;
  display: block;
  width: 400px;
}

@media (max-width: 768px) {
  .cm-subscription {
    max-width: 340px;
    display: block;
    padding-bottom: 20px;
    margin: auto;
  }
}
...
...
<!--Footer Newsletter Subscription-->
<div class="cm-subscription">
  <form autocomplete="off" action="/subscribe" method="post">
    <div class="cm-flex">
      <div style="flex: 1 1 0;">
        <input type="email" name="email" placeholder="[email protected]" required>
      </div>
      <div style="margin-left: -20px;">
        <button type="submit">&#10230;</button>
      </div>
    </div>
  </form>
</div>

When looking at the arrow, I noticed that you are currently using a unicode character for the long rightwards arrow. However, this character is not vertically centered within the text line on its own. To address this issue, you could attempt to adjust paddings or find workarounds, but this may not be an effective long-term solution as adjustments would be needed based on element height and font size. Instead, have you considered using an actual icon such as long-arrow-right from Font Awesome?

<i class="fa fa-long-arrow-right" aria-hidden="true"></i>
