Position one div-tag underneath another div-tag

Is there a way to position one divtag below another divtag?

I am looking to create a list at the bottom

Answer №1

It's a bit unclear to me what you're asking, but I'll do my best to provide an answer.

To achieve the desired effect, apply the CSS property clear:left to the first div element.

Here's an example in one line:

<div style="clear:left">first</div>
<div>second</div>

Answer №2

By default, the <div> tag has a "display" style of "block". If you want to stack multiple <div> tags, all you have to do is:

<div>
The content of this div will be placed on top.
</div>
<div>
The content of this div will be placed below.
</div>
