Outformatted Layout in HTML Email on Outlook, Post-Image Loading

When I send HTML emails in Outlook, I encounter a problem. Initially, the images do not appear when I view the newsletter, but the table layout is fine. However, once I download the images and they fit perfectly in their cells, the layout suddenly breaks just one second later. I have only used inline CSS and tables, with no JavaScript involved. The width and height of the images are correct, so I am baffled by this issue.

Answer №1

When generating this HTML code using Photoshop/Dreamweaver, or if utilizing colspan or rowspan, the mentioned effect is quite common. My preferred method has always been nesting tables within tables, rather than opting for rowspan/colspan.

Hopefully this solution proves helpful, and including some code examples or mentioning the software used to generate it wouldn't hurt either.
