My mobile browsing experience is being hindered by a high CLS score due to the image continuously loading late

This is the webpage I am experiencing problems with, and here is the Google Pagespeed report for Mobile. Despite trying to stop lazy loading and preloading the image, there is always a delay in loading. How can this issue be resolved?

Answer №1

The problem doesn't lie in the delayed download of the image (setting image dimensions - which you have already taken care of - prevents CLS for this).

The real issue is with your JavaScript, which seems to be causing some strange behavior in loading the image carousel. In the PSI screenshots, you can observe that the carousel is initially not displayed properly, and to add to that, the "Out of Stock badge" is partially covered. Then suddenly, the carousel is inserted and everything shifts down.

It appears that you may have already resolved this issue as recent tests do not show the same problem anymore?
