Modify the color of a checkbox, alter the background color, and adjust the border color in Ext

Seeking assistance with customizing the checkboxes in a grid panel. The goal is to have white check marks, a blue background, and a gray border outline. While attempting to adjust the CSS, encountered issues where changing the background color bleeds outside the border, and altering the check mark color affects the border color. Is there a method to achieve this, or should I resort to using image columns for the check marks instead?https://i.sstatic.net/DaTenkN4.png

To enhance your user interface, consider utilizing the ui feature available in Sencha's documentation. For more information, visit this link.

@include checkcolumn-ui(
    $ui: 'custom-checkbox',
    $background-color: #FFF,
    $color: #000
);
