Lately, it's becoming more common to come across websites with galleries like the ones found here:

I find these galleries quite appealing and I'm interested in incorporating something similar on my own website. However, since I don't have much experience with javascript, I was wondering if anyone could provide a sample, tutorial, link, code, or any other resources to help me achieve this?

The website I'm working on was built using Bootstrap.
