Linking to CSS in SharePoint Asset Library results in display issues

Issue encountered: Styles not rendering correctly when linking to CSS in SharePoint. Interestingly, placing the CSS directly on the page or linking it through BitBucket, GitHub, or a CDN results in proper rendering. Is hosting Intranet design files like js and css on SharePoint not recommended?

Answer №1

It turns out that hosting it from the Style Library was the solution, as no meta data gets attached there. Everything is now functioning flawlessly! Many thanks to all who assisted me in resolving this issue. Hopefully, anyone facing a similar problem in the future will find our troubleshooting process helpful. Grateful for everyone's effort and support! :D
