issues arise with the website background when inserting an SVG image onto the page

I recently created an svg image with a transparent background using Inkscape. I double-checked to ensure its transparency, and I am confident that it is indeed transparent. However, when I uploaded it to my website, it inexplicably added a white background, removing the transparency altogether. Can anyone shed light on why this may be happening?

Answer №1

If you encounter a white background when opening the SVG file in Figma, simply remove it from the other components and save this revised version. This method is always effective!
