Issues arise with HTML and CSS when users begin to scroll the page

Could really use some assistance here! I created this website for a friend, but the color of the menu bar mysteriously disappears when I scroll to the right. Any suggestions or ideas on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

The site in question is: www.olerisager.com

Answer №1

The reason for this issue is that the menu has a CSS property of width: 100% which equals the viewport's width, let's say 700px, but its children have a set width of 1200px.

To resolve this, you can either apply the same width to the #menu element or remove the wide width declaration from its children.

Answer №2

It seems like the menu is limited in width, causing its size to be restricted.

I trust this information is helpful.
