Issue with the JQuery Lightbox 2 Plugin

I'm currently in the process of developing a gallery using jQuery Lightbox 2 (visit the plugin page here). I am encountering an issue where the navigation entries remain visible even when an image is selected (view example here). The navigation is created using a CSS menu. Can anyone provide guidance on how to hide these entries once an image has been selected?

Answer №1

Update the z-index value to 5000 in the lightbox.css file.

For illustration:

#lightbox {
    left:0;
    line-height:0;
    position:absolute;
    text-align:center;
    width:100%;
    z-index:5000; /* ensure the lightbox appears above everything else */
}
