Issue with displaying Favicon on staging server

I need assistance with this issue. I am working to show a title and logo on a tab. It is functioning correctly on my local machine, but the logo is not appearing on the staging server.

<title>Global</title>

<link type="image/png" href="src/assets/images/logo/bigImage.png" rel="shortcut icon" />

Answer №1

Adding an external script or stylesheet is a simple process. Just make sure to provide the correct path, rel, and type attributes.

One thing to note is that I had trouble displaying my favicon when it was located in the assets folder. Moving the image to the same folder as my index.html solved the issue.

<head>
    <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/png/ico" href="/favicon.png" />
    <title>SITE NAME</title>
</head>

This solution worked for me, so hopefully it will work for you too.
