Is there a way to send me the result of the radio input (Yes/No) via email?

Is it feasible to send the results of a radio input (Yes/No) back to my email directly using HTML, CSS, and Javascript?

Answer №1

Are you currently working on a website project? If so, I believe the answer is yes.

Step 1: Begin by developing a web service (or a web page) that can send emails when activated. The URL might look something like this:

https://api.examplewebsite.com/emails/sendradioinput/1

The '1' at the end is a parameter that can be configured in the Web Service Client to represent a true or false value for the radio button.

Step 2: In your webpage, utilize jQuery to call upon this web service whenever the radio button is pressed (or at any desired moment).

$.post('https://api.examplewebsite.com/emails/sendradioinput/1',
     function(data, status) {
          // TODO: Verify if the WS was successfully activated.
     })
  1. Give it a try and test it out.

I hope this information proves to be useful for you. :)
