I have set up a div element specifically for ads, giving it some padding and a border to make it stand out. Surprisingly, this approach is not counter-productive.
However, considering the percentage of users who use adblock, I am concerned that they will see an empty div beneath the main content. Are there specific keywords that ad blockers look for in divs so I can hide the entire div if ads are blocked?
If not, is there a way to communicate the purpose of the div to users with ad blockers without coming across as passive aggressive? I want all users to have a good experience, regardless of their ad blocking preferences.
Any assistance or guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
