Is the image too tiny for the parallax effect?

It seems like the image at the bottom of the parallax theme is showing some spacing at full height. I initially thought the image was too small, but upon comparing it to the one in the top widget area, its height is actually larger. Should I look for a bigger picture or can this be fixed using CSS?

Answer №1

When using the width to scale the height of an image, it is important to ensure that the proportions are correct in order to achieve the desired height.

For instance, if your web page is 1000px wide and you want the image to have a height of 2000px, the height must be twice as large as the width. An image with a width of 1500px and a height of 2000px would not work because it would scale down to a height of 1333px to maintain the width of 1000px.
