Is an audio player/playlist necessary for showcasing a mix engineer's skills in their

As a newcomer to the world of web development with some background knowledge from school, I work as a mix engineer and have created a portfolio website. Previously, I utilized Soundcloud and Spotify's API to showcase my mixes/songs, but the external JavaScript was severely slowing down my site. Thus, I am looking to incorporate audio players to improve speed and SEO performance.

I would like to know the most effective method to code an audio playlist featuring high-quality .wav files. Ideally, I want it to resemble the design of the Soundcloud API, which you can view on my website here:

Thank you for your help!

If you're looking to save time, you can easily find pre-made HTML5 audio players with playlists to copy and paste into your website:

  • Check out this responsive HTML5 audio player with playlist on Cincopa
  • Or explore this HTML5 audio player with playlist tutorial on Script Tutorials

For even more options, you can search for additional HTML5 audio playlist players.
