I seem to be having some trouble with my navigation roll-over menu bar, as

Help! I'm having trouble getting my navigation bar to properly overlap the main content on my website. If you could take a look here: that would be greatly appreciated. Please disregard the header position for now, as I am still deciding on its placement.

Answer №1

Give this a shot!

 #nav ul ul {left: 9999px;position: absolute;}
 #nav ul li:hover ul{left: 0;}

Here's a helpful resource for you: http://jsfiddle.net/r8Ez4/

Answer №2

Here is an example of how the code should look:

#nav ul li{position: relative;}
#nav ul ul {left: 9999px;position: absolute;}
#nav ul li:hover ul{left: 0;}

I forgot to include #nav ul li{position: relative;} in the initial code. Give it a try now, this should work for you.

Please remove the following lines from the #nav ul ul section: #nav ul ul{display:none} and top: 100%;
