How to Customize Background Colors for Blogspot Posts?

Recently, I started my own blog using Google Blogger and I've run into a minor issue. Despite applying a background image for the entire blog, all of my posts have a white background instead. I haven't used any background-color in the HTML code of my posts, so I'm not sure why this is happening. I've attempted to add some custom CSS to fix the problem, but nothing has worked so far. Can anyone offer assistance with removing the background color for individual posts?

I recently discovered that simply adding !important at the end of the code made it work like a charm.

body {
   background: url("//themes.googleusercontent.com/image?id=1oeu82iUqJps3FeKBKTo6YByCaGWa2WjDK-Xuw8Oz9vVaPtbZKzSOJjMoCJYo3C4_-ATJ") no-repeat fixed center top rgba(207, 226, 243, 1) !important;
}

Hopefully, this solution proves useful to you as well.
