How can you make your InfoPath 2007 forms stand out with custom designs and branding?

Hello fellow developers,

I'm interested in learning about the various methods, tools, and best practices for designing personalized InfoPath 2007 forms to be integrated into MOSS. I understand that this is a broad question, but any guidance would be greatly valued.

Thank you in advance!

Answer №1

If you're looking for a detailed and engaging guide on creating a leave form, check out the 7-part tutorial on SharePoint Magazine.

While it doesn't explicitly outline best practices, this walkthrough covers the entire process of translating business requirements into a final solution using the product.

Answer №2

Being one of the rare individuals in my organization who appreciates infopath forms, I find their utility to be somewhat restricted.

For streamlined branding purposes, opt for Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007.

The most effective deployment strategy is to always package it as a wsp and install using that method.
