How can you make a Tempory Drawer wider in Material Components Web?

Increasing the Width of a Temporary Drawer in Material-components-web

Greetings!

I am currently facing an issue with Material-components-web

In the provided demo here, I would like to extend the width of the Temporary drawer to accommodate additional columns.

I have attempted adjusting the width and applying negative margins on the right, but unfortunately, it did not yield the desired results.

Could someone offer assistance or guidance on this matter?

Thank you kindly.

Hey there! If you're looking to increase the width of the expanding drawer, I have a solution for you. Upon investigating, I found that there was a maximum width set on the navbar that needed to be removed using JavaScript. Here's how I accomplished it:

var element = document.getElementsByClassName('mdc-temporary-drawer__drawer')[0];
element.style.maxWidth='none';

Once this limitation was removed, I was able to set any desired width. For example, if you wish to set the width to 500px, you can do so with the following code:

element.style.width='500px';
