How can I reduce the size of a Bootstrap 5 carousel that spans the entire screen?

As someone new to web development, I have found using bootstrap to be extremely helpful. However, I am currently struggling with creating a carousel for my website. My goal is to display some pictures in one corner of the page, but the carousel keeps stretching across the entire page. This results in the picture being off and preventing me from placing anything next to it. Any assistance on how to resolve this issue would be highly appreciated!

Answer №1

Remember to always include the class="container" for the primary content section.

<body>
    <div class="container">

        <!-- Insert your content here -->

    </div>
</body>

Answer №2

To achieve the desired layout, consider adding a margin or padding around the image. To center an image in the Carousel, you can use "margin:auto;" which should help resolve any alignment issues. I faced similar challenges earlier due to the small size of the image. On my website, specifically in the "Home" and "Artworks" sections, the images are intentionally small. If your images appear too small, ensure they are set at 100% scale to avoid any distortion.
