Header and footer on iPad are not extending to full width even when set to 100% width

Upon viewing this link on an iPad, you may observe that the header does not span the full width of the page, leaving a noticeable pixel gap on the right side. The same issue is present with the footer. It is puzzling to me because both elements are set to 100% width in my CSS stylesheet and appear perfectly fine on my Mac using Safari and Firefox. Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue? (The actual code has been omitted due to its length as I am unsure where the problem lies) Thank you

Answer №1

The reason for this issue is the min-width set in html,body. By adjusting the min-width to 1000px, you can resolve the problem.

Replace the following:

html, body {
min-width: 980px;

With the following:

html, body {
min-width: 1000px;

Answer №2

When it comes to the .wrapper class, you currently have a 1000px width specified in your CSS file. A simple tweak of removing the width:1000px declaration at line 452 should solve the issue.
