Having trouble with Bootstrap 5 sticky-top functionality within a container?

Why is my <nav> not sticking to the top of the viewport when scrolling, even though it has the .sticky-top class?

Answer №1

To solve the problem, you can either eliminate the outer container so that the .sticky-top element becomes a direct child of the <body> tag, or relocate .sticky-top to the parent element (in this scenario, the <div>).

The behavior does not appear to be present with the .fixed-top class.
