"Flaticon icons display properly when stored on a local server, but encounter issues when accessed online

Working on a website, I have incorporated numerous icons into the design. Despite organizing the files effectively, I am struggling to identify any potential issues. As a beginner in this field, I continue to learn and grow.

Answer №1

Ensure that you have properly added and are accessing those files...

Your @font-face code should look something like this (the path can include or omit 2 dots - depending on its location), I suspect the font file names you are hosting are in lowercase letters

@font-face {
    font-family: "Flaticon";
    src: url("../flaticon.eot");
    src: url("../flaticon.eot?#iefix") format("embedded-opentype"),
         url("../flaticon.woff") format("woff"),
         url("../flaticon.ttf") format("truetype"),
         url("../flaticon.svg#Flaticon") format("svg");
    font-weight: normal;
    font-style: normal;
}
