Firefox is having trouble fetching #header from style.css, but other web browsers seem to be working fine

My website appears fine on Chrome and Safari, but on Firefox the header and other elements are not displaying correctly. It seems like there may be a cross-browser compatibility issue.

I am new to dealing with these types of problems. Can you assist me in resolving this issue?

Answer №1

Upon checking the JavaScript console in Firebug, it appears that there are two errors present.

ReferenceError: Cufon is not defined
Error: Permission denied to access property 'toString'

Similar errors have been observed in Chrome's developer tool as well. However, Firefox seems to stop functioning and fails to load additional resources once it encounters an error.

The recommended solution is to address the errors highlighted in the js console within the Firefox/Firebug developer tool. Once these issues are resolved, your website should operate smoothly across all browsers.

Answer №2

There seems to be a mistake in line number 67 with an extra "-character. The correct line should appear as follows:

h1 { font-family:"Helvetica Neue","Helvetica", sans-serif; font-size:3 em; color:#000; text-transform:uppercase;}

Paul pointed out that there are several issues in the HTML file. It is recommended to validate the code and address any errors detected by the validator :)
