Excessive PDF page content

Currently, I am creating SEO reports for clients using WKHTMLTOPDF. One issue that I am facing is the continuous overflow of content from one page to the next, resulting in words being split between Page 1 and Page 2.

Despite my attempts to use CSS page breaks, the problem persists. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Answer №1

Include the following styles in your CSS file:

div.alwayspagebreak { page-break-before: always; }
div.noclear:before { clear:both; }
div.noclear{ page-break-inside: avoid;
  /* Refer to http://code.google.com/p/wkhtmltopdf/issues/detail?id=9#c21 for more information */
}

After that, enclose your text or sections with <div class="noclear">. This method can also be used for table rows.
