Ensuring Quick Response Times When Incorporating Personalized Text Styles into Twitter Bootstrap

Currently, I am experimenting with incorporating my custom class titled "article-title" which is significantly larger than the default H1 font size in Twitter Bootstrap.

Can someone provide guidance on the necessary steps to ensure responsiveness? My goal is to have the text shrink appropriately on smaller screens.

Thank you in advance.

Answer №1

Utilize media queries to adjust the font size according to the screen size

For instance, this specific media query alters the font size for screens that are 320 pixels or smaller:

@media (max-width: 320px) {
    .article-title { font-size: 2em; }
}

The example shown above is implemented in a question on Stack Overflow below

Responsive Font Size

Best of luck!

Answer №2

Would this be beneficial for you?

Define the font-size in em units for <h1> and then adjust the font size of the body using pixels.
