Effects in CSS for items within the course menu on the Learning Management System

OLAT's Learning Management System enables users to customize the styles and design of their online courses using CSS. The screenshot displays certain sections of a course site with appropriate ID or class selectors.

If I want to apply hover effects to each element in the left menu (number 3) knowing that their CSS ID Selector is "#o_main_left_content," how can I do so? https://i.sstatic.net/CDVLU.png

Answer №1

Employing the tree class as it accurately symbolizes lists of that specific type!

/* tree displayed at the top */
.o_tree ul li .active_parent.o_tree_link a:hover, .o_tree ul li,  .active_parent.o_tree_link a,
.o_tree ul li .active_parent.o_tree_link a:hover, .o_tree ul li,     .active_parent.o_tree_link a:focus
{
color: #84A311;
}
